Eaton MEDC XB15 Xenon Flasher

Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds series MEDC XB15 5, 10, and 15-joule xenon flares are suitable for use in environments containing potentially explosive gases and dust. They are suitable for use in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries in both onshore and offshore environments.

The signal flare housing is made entirely of UV-resistant, glass-reinforced polyester (GRP)—it is lightweight and corrosion-resistant.

The XB15 model includes a control diode and a four-wire connection for alarm applications.

In addition to standard global certifications, EN54-23 and SIL1 are now available. In addition to being certified for operation between -55°C and +70°C, the XB15 is designed to provide continuous power at -55°C.
