MEDC XB15 Xenon Flasher

Eaton’s Crouse-Hinds series MEDC XB15 5, 10 and 15 Joule Xenon flares are suitable for use in potentially explosive gas and dust environments. They are suitable for marine and both onshore and offshore environments in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries.

The flare housing is manufactured entirely from UV-resistant, glass-reinforced polyester (GRP) – lightweight and corrosion-free.

Model XB15 includes a supervisory diode and four-wire connection for alarm applications.

In addition to standard worldwide certifications, EN54-23 and SIL1 are now available. In addition to being certified from -55°C to +70°C, the XB15 is designed to continuously energize at -55°C.
