The TOC-750 Safe Area addressable gas detectors, combined with the new generation Sentinel+™ communication technology, connect all detectors to each other via a single 2-wire cable for both power and communication.
Combined with sensor options for over 700 gases and vapors and long-life sensor technology, the TOC-750 becomes the most versatile gas detector on the market.
The TOC-750 Safe Area addressable gas detector features replaceable sensors. This means that when a sensor reaches the end of its service life, the front section of the detector can be easily replaced with a new, pre-calibrated sensor. Thanks to plug-and-play technology, this process is extremely simple and significantly reduces ongoing maintenance costs.
In addition, all TOC-750 addressable gas detectors feature AUTO changeover and AUTO detect capabilities. This allows the gas type detected by the detector to be easily changed by replacing the sensor; the system automatically detects this change and makes the necessary adjustments itself.
The TOC-750 secure area addressable gas detector is an extremely reliable and versatile secure area gas detector.
By using only a 2-core cable for power and communication (daisy-chained to other detectors and the main control panel), you save up to 70% in installation costs compared to traditional gas detectors. Additionally, you can easily upgrade existing systems and reuse cables, allowing you to quickly and effectively upgrade old analog systems at a much lower cost.
Multiple I/O Points Per Detector
TOC-750 safe area addressable detectors feature multiple input and output options on the actual sensor. This means that a single detector can control up to 7 other devices, including but not limited to other gas detectors, impact switches, audible alarms, gas supply valves, analog devices (including third-party), displays, and much more. Thus, a versatile detector provides reduced installation and cabling requirements and much-needed distributed control without the need for expensive I/O cards.
Unique Labyrinth Sensor Design
The molded detector front incorporates a built-in partition/splash guard. This protects the detector with its labyrinth arrangement. Gas can enter, but harmful contaminants cannot. This extends the detector’s life and ensures peak performance at all times. Molding and final assembly also isolate the detector compartment from the terminal box and electronics compartment. This prevents corrosive gases, moisture, etc., from penetrating areas where they could cause damage.
Pipe adapters, pitot sampling devices, and calibration adapters can be attached to the molded detector front. The calibration adapter is specially designed to present the gas as it would be during normal operation. This allows for traceable calibrations and checks, which are vital in any safety system.
Safe Area Detector ABS Design
ABS detectors are robust and wear-resistant, offering a high degree of chemical resistance. The 750 addressable safe area gas detector is IP54 rated. The detectors, electronics, and sensor tests used in the 750 addressable safe area gas detectors are identical to those used in our ATEX variant. The only difference is the enclosure material. If you do not need an ATEX-rated detector, we do not expect you to pay for it. The Safe Area Gas Detector covers applications that are not classified as ATEX areas. We ensure the same detection quality, as they ultimately perform the same function. The enclosure is designed for wall mounting with pre-molded cable channels. Alternatively, the TOC-750 series addressable gas detector enclosure can be mounted in Dado channels or flush-mounted on the wall, as it is a standard 2-piece mounting kit.
Replaceable Sensor Fronts and Automatic Replacement
The 750 safe area addressable gas detector has replaceable sensor fronts. This means that when the sensor’s life expires, you can easily replace the detector’s front with a pre-calibrated front. Simple plug-and-play technology is used. It significantly reduces ongoing maintenance costs. Additionally, all our 750 addressable gas detectors feature AUTOMATIC switching and AUTOMATIC detection. This means you can easily change the detector’s gas type by replacing the front panel, and the system will detect this change and automatically adjust. Sentinel+ Addressable Communication
The 750 series detectors, using our Sentinel+™ 2-Wire protocol, communicate over a 2-Core power cable. This significantly reduces cabling costs (by up to 70-80% compared to existing systems on the market). And terminations; while increasing reliability. The Sentinel+™ protocol continuously monitors data between connected detectors and the system controller. This ensures maximum system integrity and availability. Existing systems with only two cables for power and communication can be easily upgraded using the original cabling, and additional detectors and devices can be easily added as needed.
